NORFOLK, Va., October 14, 2016 — Currituck County’s Department of Travel & Tourism was recently recognized by the Destination Marketing Association of North Carolina (DMANC) for their new website during the annual awards ceremony, held this year in Winston-Salem. The Currituck Tourism Department took home a Gold Award in the Online Communications category for website redesign, conducted by Ciniva Web Agency.
The new website was launched in April of 2016, designed and developed by Ciniva Web Agency, who also manage the Currituck Tourism Department’s web presence and paid digital media campaigns.
The Destination Marketing Achievement Awards highlight the most exciting, modern and artistic advances in tourism marketing. Ciniva’s work with the Currituck Tourism Department has been recognized in previous years with a Platinum award for social media video campaign featuring Starsky Starfish as well as their tourism E-Newsletter.
The Norfolk marketing agency built the custom website with a responsive design, which adjusts to any screen size to accommodate the large numbers of site visitors using mobile devices when browsing. Featuring dazzling video and gorgeous imagery assets as well as an interactive homepage with options to choose your Currituck experience, the new website is one that will serve the Currituck Tourism Department well for years to come.
